What We Do.
Each day is another opportunity to help someone in need and bring people closer to God.
We help others in their deliverance, salvation, and healing according to the word of God. Servicing the community, helping those that are in need in their spiritual life. Helping our young folks who are lost in this world. Bringing people into the joy of their new life and living an abundant life in Jesus Christ. First Church Five is dedicated to serving the community since 2003.
There's room for you in every area of the church.
Whatever your needs are, we invite you to become a part of our family and learn about what the love of God can do for your life. It’s never too late to rededicate your life to faithfulness in God. The ministries of our church serves the greater good of the community. Our outreach program has assisted many people like you.
Men's Ministry
Men's Ministry
Every first Saturday of the month, where men come together breaking the bread of life to edify each other in their walk of life. Men discussing issues that affect their walk with Jesus. A time where men can come together to gather, strengthen, and encourage in their life. A time of fellowshipping with other men to build a good relationship to help in times of emotional needs. To break down and repair their problems by coming together.
Sunday School
Sunday School
A great time to learn the word of God. To gain wisdom and knowledge in the Lord. A time where you can participate and become active in the church biblical studies; in addition to where you can ask questions that you might have on your mind about the Bible. We make it a place where you can express your desire to learn more about God’s word.
Morning Worship

Open Arms Outreach Women Empowerment
Open Arms Outreach Women Empowerment
Open Arms Outreach (OAO) is a nonprofit 501(c) (3) organization that’s under the First Church Five-Fold Fellowship Ministries; to transform souls, building families and communities all over again using biblical principles. We believe that no life is beyond the reach of God’s power and we envision a future in which countless women who are incarcerated, ex-prisoners, and their families are redeemed, restored, and reconciled through the love and truth of Jesus Christ. We want women to believe that they can become new creatures in Christ and not repeated offenders. Our primary focus is to assist women in acclimating and adjusting to society through the utilization of life coaching strategies and techniques. Emphasis will be placed on accountability, responsibility, work ethics, positive parenting, educational and job development training, and cognitive and behavioral restructuring. We also mentor women who are hurting within, through emotionally and physically abused, dealing with low self-esteem issues, rape, and molestation. We are building them back one brick at a time. Letting them know they are not alone through our skilled mentor’s program.
Christian Counseling
Registered Nurse ASD, Pastor, Christian Counseling Certified through AACC
We are compassionate about offering hope, building faith individually, and healing for the whole person. What’s so unique about pastoral counseling is we are not medical doctors that write out prescriptions. But in certain situations as a pastor that counsels people, has the advantage of identifying a problem and is in a position to refer a person to a psychiatrist, medical doctor who has specialized training in treating mental-emotional, and behavioral disorders. Pastoral counselors talk to people of all different kinds of faith without being judgemental, as well as to people who do not profess to be in any faith. We are able to discuss religions and spiritual issues, but in our Pastoral Counseling, we never push on a person who believes what their faith should be. We work with the person to explore their questions about faith and spiritual issues and refer to the appropriate religious source to get the answers they are looking for. Mostly, we help you talk about current situations in a new way. Providing a new perspective on the situation is the first step to change. We also help the person to open up in their communication so that the thoughts, feelings they do not speak about are open up through building a trustful relationship. I am a registered nurse by profession. Ministry deals with for most of us the spiritual side. When people come to church they come with baggage. I believe as pastors we need to be trained and equipped others in the church to really see people, why? because they are in pain; someone may be on the verge of committing suicide. We are overlooking signs and symptoms people come into the church that’s in need of something more than spiritual.
